Wheels finally mounted!!! Apex Arc-8 content
Finally think Ohio is hopefully (fingers crossed) clear of the snow. Got the wheels mounted today. Next step is the wheel gap. Wow it's worse than with the stock 17x8's (those had 45 aspect ratio tires). Went from the stock run flats to Michelin PSS.
Specs: 18x9.5 et 35 Arc-8 Hyperblack square. Front 5 mm Renn spacer from Sonic Tuning. No hub extender (yet). Tires: Michelin PSS 235/40/18. Applied a coat of Opti-Coat 2.0 on the barrel and face for protection as well. Love the concavity all around. Many thanks to MonacoBlueE90 and meza0531 for their help and inspiration. Just one pic, a bit dirty, not the best angle/lighting and iphone. More photos to come. Hope you all like. Scott Last edited by schach23; 04-07-2014 at 08:09 AM.. |

No problem at all. Looking good, but drop will make even better. The gap looks bigger, because wheels are closer to fender than stock setup and also because less rubber. Also you have typo on the tyre size. Isn't it a 235/40/18.

Plan on a drop in the future. One thing at a time. Also didn't think 45 aspect ratio would fit. Wanted to future proof the setup for a drop anyway. Wife wasn't so hot on how much this setup cost. Also I have a steep driveway which makes the front gap worse I think. On level ground it's not so bad. Next summer will be the drop. Stay tuned!! |
