Alot.
It makes more sense. I drive a 330 btw. If I wanted power I would sell mine in a heartbeat and find a clean similar 335 and take the 7 grand I would spend for this supercharger and have way more reliable power and a nicer car. Just seems too late and too expensive to be making this. It also still isnt available to actually buy. Probably wont be. |

I don't understand all of the people who say sell and buy a 335i. If this was the thinking everyone went by, no tuners would exist and everyone would drive Veyrons. Because with thinking like this, why ever mod a 335i, stop wasting your money and buy an M3. Quit being cheap. To M3 owners, stop blowing your money and get a GTR. To GTR owners, go by a Lambo, to Lambo owners, you must be poor because you didn't buy a Veyron.
Modding is what some people enjoy. It is not always about buying a ready made product. |

Im talking about using a better product as a base to mod. Obviously I would mod a 335 and not let it sit stock.
If youve done the valve cover gasket job or replaced a broken head bolt in our N52 like I have youd realize how fragile alot of the bolts really are. I would never feel safe boosting the N52. Its a great engine as is, but not mod friendly. Im speaking spcifically to boosting the N52. Its not about being cheap or whatever. Like I said for the 7 grand you spedn on this kit you could have a well equipped low mileage 335 and have a tune and other mods. Quote:

In an ideal world, anybody who buys a car did all their research, so any 328i owner is happy with their power knowing it isn't mod friendly
That being said... preferences and buying power change over time. There is probably a small market for this product, if it ever sees the light of day

To ever car owner who thinks a car below them is not worth modding, there is a car owner above you who thinks your car is not worth modding. With your logic, anything lower than a BMW is not worth modding. Because why not start with a better product? So why mod your 335i, when you could start with a better product, AN M3???? |

^ I think hes also justifying cost value. Cost difference is less than 10g which is probably where you would spend to get the SC on the n52 all said and done. If I would do it all over, I would buy a 335. I was too reluctant and stupid to read all the negative problems ppl report about the n54

At the end of the day it whatever makes you happy. If you like your 328i and you like modding it to give it that little extra hp then great. If you want a lot more hp like over 400hp then yes you should into the 335i.
If you think about all the cars you have bought how many of them have you modified. I have owned a mustang, ranger, Chevy and now a BMW and I have done something to all of them. I'm not just talking performance. Many people mod there car because they enjoy it. Like I said its all up to the person and what makes them happy. I enjoy modding my car. And if I really wanted a lot of hp when yes I would of got a 335i or picked up a e46 m3. But I'm happy with what I have and enjoy missing it an driving it everyday. Also at the end of the day you can only drive so fast on the freeway. We don't leave in Europe with the autobahn.

I know I did lol
My 328 was great, but I needed to go back to forced induction. It was great while it lasted.

Way more goes Into that. The 335 is hard to beat power to money ratio. It's really hard to find a better car for its price range (used). Easily finding used 335s for low 20s really pushes anything else near it away once you factor in how easy it is to add power. Faster than the m3 , and cheaper. Anywho good luck on the supercharger. I'd really like to see one beat a stock 335 in a video one day. But going by the rate that the headers went maybe we will see it happen next year |

In those videos it doesnt have the final intake in it, or filter or meth system in it, it was just out for some test runs.
