Appreciate the time for doing the review @dbworld4k, thank you.
As others have mentioned the car has been tuned for 91 octane as per the customer request and is doing quite well for a solid consistent 91 octane tune running around 13.5psi at peak power and about 16psi in midrange producing the shown torque numbers. As a point of reference the torque numbers shown are about 10-15wtq higher than what OTS E30/Race gas maps provide while running less boost and appropriate timing for 91. One point we'd like to add is that this particular car came to us with a severe boost control issue on OTS maps that required a massive amount of work to sort out due to very stiff wastegate actuators. Luckily we had enough headroom in the tune to get the issue sorted out saving this customer the cost of very expensive labor involved in pulling both turbos down to have the actuators adjusted while in turn making consistent power on lowest octane you can run safely on the N54 day in day out. Our tuning adheres to making the most power under the curve for any given octane while keeping in mind overall efficiency, reliability and consistency. Glory dyno numbers are certainly fun to look at and per customer request we can and have pushed things very aggressively as has been demonstrated in the past on and off the forums. Given the overly aggressive, inconsistent and failure prone nature of glory type tunes, they are far outside of the standard approach we take to tuning a customer car. In this case @dbworld4k as most customers do, wanted issues with OTS maps fixed while making the most power reliably they could for 91 octane. Our extensive experience on this and other platforms has ensured our customers enjoy their cars to the fullest considering most cars coming to us by far are daily drivers and people prefer them driving and having fun on the street much more so rather than being regulars at their neighbourhood mechanic on a lift wondering what the next repair would look like. That gets old really quickly and those that have been there will know exactly where we are coming from. Lastly, higher octane certainly helps make greater repeatable/consistent gains possible as some of our customers have demonstrated in the past. @dbworld4k, feel free to PM or email us at any time if there's any questions at all.

proTUNING Freaks Thanks for chiming in! Just wanted to report that I've had nothing but good experiences thus far. Almost 4 months later and the car pulls harder than ever as I changed out the chargepipe and went with a BOV. I wonder if my diverter's may have had tiny leaks, as the car definitely pulls a bit harder now by the seat of the pants feel...
One Q: What gains are to be expected if we go with a 93 tune? |

Thank you sir, and glad to hear!
Conservatively speaking going from good 91 octane to good 93 octane with the same modifications would net you roughly 20-25whp gains in the same conditions, on average.

I had it tuned while I was spending a lot of time in Toronto, Canada (where I'm from). Every pump has 91 octane, but only a select brand carries 94 (they don't have 93). I may re-tune it for 93 now though, especially if that noticeable gains are to be had :O |

Db...just tune it for 93 and put Petro in for when you're back home in T Dot
Dzenno is spot on with the whp numbers, as that's what I saw after my PTF tune on 94 (370 on a Dynojet as well, with winters on). |
