Also, congrats on this endeavor! Other than those issues, how does the wagon feel with the 335i heart? I would love to do this if I had the money. Edit: Since we should not be hijacking tpowerdinny's thread, can you start a new thread with information about your build? I would love to know more! |

the guy who did it for me was very very good doing it. we run the computer and all the codes to it and we only found that wire missing the famous #15 lol . i have not any error codes now on the dash, not know what it is yet, i will keep doing my homework for this little issue but if you hear something about it or similar problem, let me know who did it, he could not take pictures of the built up but i can tell you that was everything strsigh froward except for little things. like: rear bumper repaired to make dual exhaust fit like original 335i touring wagon. |

Thanks! Those Performance seats are but I just can't justify them for this one. Maybe later on if I end up doing the V8 transplant .But at least I got these... stock seats are so terrible, just not acceptable to put a hard bench with no ergonomics that looks like a seat inside. So if I were to reupholster I'd be also doing the front M3 seats .

I've been thinking about reupholstering in red or cinnamon, or maybe a two-tone. I love color interiors with black contrast. Right now the interior will sit on hold until possibly January. Things are moving slow but they are moving. BORING UPDATE Today we started with the rear bumper. Tomorrow it will be chopped up. Tomorrow we should also do the EVAP Canister Relocation in preparation for the custom dual exhaust later on. Maybe on Tuesday the rear bumper will be in primer.

These updates are not sexy but they are made to show the progress in case you want to attack a similar conversion. There are plenty of thread that show info and final results. I'm trying to show a little more when possible.
REAR BUMPERs were chopped up but its still need a few edges shaved. The cutting line under the piece of the stock bumper for example was just left from the initial cut. As you can see though, it all lines up pretty well. Now we need to make sure the top edges line up to the quarter panel perfectly. It will get plastic welded on Monday. I'll try to get some pics for you guys.

coming along nicely. the rear fenders turned out great. how are you going to work the style line in from the stock e91 bumper into the side of the m3 bumper?
