PROcede install issue

I just installed the PROcede on my car but when i try to turn my car on it
just cranks forever but never starts. There's a couple things to keep in mind though:
1. My car was having longer cranks (3 seconds) a few days ago but it's been getting better and today it was starting/driving fine before I installed the unit. I really don't think my hpfp just failed when it started and drove fine just a couple of hours earlier.
2. I made the mistake of disconnecting the battery for the install and I don't know if that could have caused the issue but I doubt it.

Any ideas? Any help is really appreciated.

Check the connectors to make sure they are installed into the DME harness correctly and the connections from the DME to the Proceed are facing properly...

Just check your all wires and read/watch installation video again.

Did you connect the power wire ?

It's not HPFP for sure... check your all wires.

This has happened to many people. It is usually the position of the wires in the green power box. Car turning over and not starting is the symptom. In the install video the box is twisted/turned at some points and it can be confusing what is front and back.

Happened to me. Just unplug all connectors and plug them back in with the battery disconnected. Plug battery back in and it should work fine. Clear all codes when completed.

Thanks for the help so far guys, I checked the power box but it seems right, the PROcede cable is plugged into slot 2 on the side that we change, and the other one is in slot 8..I'm going to keep looking over the connections and maybe just re-plug them

maybe reprogram it ?

reload firmware and map.

see what happens.

I still think there is something wrong with wires if your engine doesn't even start.

maybe dead battery ? if you really think all wires are correct, use jump cable ?

Just my thought..

email sales@vishnu . They will help you.

First picture - red connector on the end of a black wire. What does it go to? It does not look familiar to me. Do you see it in the harness pictured in this Rev II install vid

Did you buy this procede new or used? Is it Rev1 hardware or rev 2?

The red connector is for progressive methanol. All the harnesses now come with that update. Just ignore it (unless u run meth of course).

Bump for update. If you put it back to stock, does the car start right up? Probably best thing is to go back to stock and verify it starts, then start the install again and go slowly.

Ya I believe Pin 2 should just be mentioned in the install. In the video, you have to analyze the orientation, took me like 10 replays of that section to figure out which pin to take out.

But yea its def a wiring issue.

You also need to make sure all connections are seated fully and the arrows are opposite on the plug. If you see arrows on one side ONLY then its backwards.

UPDATE:

Wow it was a simple mistake I didn't fully push in the two ecu connectors...Car started up great. Test drive coming soon, after I put everything back!

Really appreciated for the input for everyone that helped, I made the thread expecting maybe one or two responses but got so many more..this really shows how good of a community we got here.
