Just wondering if there are any recommended engine treatment additives that might help clear up this build up a little..?

The blurb on that page says "CATACLEAN is an engine and fuel system detoxification technology, developed to exceed the most recent environmental standards. CATACLEAN rapidly and thoroughly dissolves resin, gum, carbon and similar deposits in the fuel system, oxygen sensor/lambda probe and catalytic converter. "

Anyone ever tried this stuff..?

i think the only method to help reduce build up is running meth lol

Like giving your internals a spring clean

Anything you add into the fuel will have no effect at all as the fuel is injected after the valves.

Who has had this done in the South East

How about a list of places people have used?
And how much charged.

Also might be an idea to see if anyone is up for a group order (obviously spread over time as each car is a time consuming job).

I hate to think what my head is like at 190,000 miles.

Just given Barons Farnborough a call as they are on the Mini list but don't do BMW's. Might be worth going in face to face and seeing if they can be convinced. I would if i was closer...

Having said that I have another lead in the same sort of area so will look into it and report back!
