You'd be freeing up 7mm on the outside with the spacer. Going 10mm wider on the tire means 5mm on the outside. You might not fit on the inside since your coming 12mm closer (wider tire + new spacer). I guess just ask Johan, lol.

The way I look at it is I know 275 will fit with no spacer on with the wheel I have. If I put a 5mm spacer on with a 285 the inside clearance is wash (5mm out cause of spacer but 5mm in cause of new wider tire). The outside clearance will gain 10mm (5mm out cause of spacer and 5mm out cause of new tire). So compared to the current 12mm spacer i have now I SHOULD have 2mm more of clearance on the outside gap.
