Well just got back from Newton. When I showed up at about 10pm they were in 11th place and when I left at 1am they were up to 8th. Hope they keep climbing through the night

Thanks to everyone that came out to Newton. Don, Stacy, Beeeeeemer. Was good to have you. We finished in 6th after a long night battle (3rd if you get rid of the top three cars that were clearly not $500 dollar cars...UNG) Glad you all got to see what $500 car racing is about and hopefully another team gets added to the area...

For anyone interested Chip posted the raw transponder data...

Cliffs notes:
-Jeremy Drove a crapload (both of Chips stints combined are 13m longer than Jeremy's shorter stint)
-Chip ran the fastest (dry stint 1) and slowest (rainy stint 2), and ran 38 laps less than the average driver.
-Mikey has 3 of the top 25 lap times.
-Jamie was almost as fast in the "moist" as he was in the "dusk"
-John can't claim that his second stint was "wet" as he was 3.2s faster per lap during the second stint than his first.
-If you accidentally leave Pats last night lap in (the 3 hour one) his average lap time for his second stint jumps to 5:13.018 (that stumped me for a while)
