After doing some research it seems like a pretty complex process, it looks like you have to separate the headlights by heating the headlight and loosening the glue; then pull hard. Hopefully I am wrong and somebody can chime in.

I made a template out of paper and traced it onto 3M di noc. Then just applied the cut outs to my headlights. If you look at my old threads, youll see what i did.

I've got a set of gloss black vinyl cutouts that I won't use. PM me if anyone wants them.

There are basically 3 options:

1: use tape/covers/stickers to cover the yellow part.

2: replace the headlights

3: DIY and take apart the headlight housing and remove the yellow plastic. If done incorrectly, you can have leaks in your headlights or destroy them completely.

#1 is the cheapest And easiest but doesn't look as good (IMO). #3 is free but most work (you gotta remove your wheels and bumper). #2 is the most expensive (unless you break something trying #3, then that becomes the most expensive since you wasted labor).

im in the same situation now and am on the edge of spending a lot of money on some clear euro lights, there no other solution your pretty much screwed if you don't buy new lights, the other alternitives just don't look right. i'm kinda getting used to it but my car is silver and it dosent look as bad as a darker color with orange. but even if you do get clear lights they still light up orange when you turn on your lights you would then need to do a corner delete to completely get rid of the orange, cars in north america are meant to have orange light or reflector by law i hate the orange

another option ive been thinking of is sending the lights to oss and getting their angel eyes installed they can also black out the orange from the inside or paint it the color of your car from the inside and also they can do the corner delete all in one package

The front bumper is pretty interesting... a little bit ricey for a bimmer, but with something similar to that design would be pretty nice looking.

As for the lights, those are pretty sick looking... i was thinking, if i get OSS to do my headlights, i may ask them to smoke the LED rings to have a completely blacked out look... i'll chat with them a bit to see what they have to say

sales@ossdesigns.net <--- for those of you who don't have the contact info. They're working on an official website right now but i don't think its up and running yet. They can do custom angel eyes on any vehicle. My girlfriend is having angel eyes put on her '08 Jeep Cherokee soon. ^__^

I think you can send them to e92 lighting and they will black them out as well.
