335i N54 Engine Ticking Noise

Having issues with my 335i making a ticking sound. At first I thought it was an exhaust issue but upon further inspection the sound is coming from the Engine itself. The sound is palpable when engine is idling. I cannot determine if the noise persists as I am driving however. Issue occurs even after oil change.

Another Youtuber found the issue to be related to one of the injectors on his N54 Engine. Is there a way to fix this issue?

It's normal. The injectors are loud.

Seems to be common injector noises.

Listen at around 4:57 you can hear the same ticking noise. The 335i in that video was only 2 years old at the time the video was recorded.

I don't recall the car making this noise when I first received it. I have heard other videos without this issue and did not have the same ticking sound.

From my understanding one workaround is to change the oil type from say 5w30 to 0w40. I may try this method and see if it resolves the issue.

Another resolution is to potentially replace the injectors but that would be $$$.

Sounds like I might be you fuel pressure relief valve, they are known to tick after a while, part of the hpfp, considered normal, rev the car a little and will go away.

It's constantly ticking no matter how much I rev at higher RPM. On a cold start the ticking does not come about, only when it sits idle for a minute or two will it come and remain indefinitely.

I have an appointment setup for walnut blasting and hopefully this may resolve the issue fingers crossed.
