Opinions wanted on topic of crazy colored wheels..

So how do you guys feel when you see a stock, moderately, or immensely modified vehicle, and the most obvious mod is the bright flashy wheels, crazy blue colors, reds, greens, etc..?!?

I get mixed reviews when talking about it with my friends, so just figured I'd see what the general consensus is on good ole e90post..

What you guys' think?

See, I feel like that sometimes, but other times I don't get grossed out right away so than I wonder to myself if I like it, or if it's just intriguing because it's different lol..

Like something like this for instance, I don't think it's horrible, but I also don't think I'd do it..

Different strokes for different folks. I like to see that as opposed to slammed/hellaflush.

for an Asian Import, sure, they can work if done right.

For a German Import, no.

Garage List
I hate it, but to each his own.

When you're deciding which restaraunt to eat at again, do you go for the one that you thought wasn't horrible or the one that you thought was amazing?

Wasn't the trend started by the GT3 in 2007 though?

Its to bring more attention. I think depending on color combo of the car and wheels some looks cool some looks dumb. Plus most these guys got money to dump on another set of rims when they eventually will get bored of it

My neighbor has a Porsche that's white with bright green rims and yeah, I know he can afford any other set of wheels just kind of funny he chose those lime green ones over the factory wheels he had which were bad ass..

On stock car, it's sad.

On slightly modified car, I take it as the driver being funny. I've considered doing some goofy color plastidip on my stock wheels for winter driving "because I can". I can see how/why that would be fun.

On a heavily modified car or something that is exotic to begin with, I think it works. These cars are going to be attention grabbers regardless, and a flashy wheel in a complementary color can enhance the overall look.

I don't care for that dress up cosmetic BS. If it doesn't make my car go faster, I couldn't give a rat's ass.

Wheels like that scream two things.

1. I am not adequately satisfied with the size of my penis.

2. I did not get enough attention as a kid...... and possible was touched by an uncle but it's ok cause he made up for it by paying for these wheels.

Depends on the theme of the vehicle. I think wrapping the vehicle usually gives the bright colored wheels quite a look.
