Alarm Queston
Hey all,
I've got a quick question about the OEM alarm install. I've bought all the components and plan on installing it myself to save some cash. My question comes to the programing. I want it to have 100% functionality. The tilt sensor, interior motion sensor, etc., not just having the car beep when I lock it. The thing is I've had conflicting reports on what I need to do to get it programed. I've heard that I can have somebody who does coding code it to my car and that will get everything to work 100%. The other thing I've heard is the car will need a software upgrade and only a dealer would be able to do it. So does anyone know for sure which is correct to get everything working properly?

Looks like I can save some money since the dealer wanted $250 just to program it.
