Help e92 front turn signal bulbs

I am looking into changing out the yellow turn signal bulbs for white ones since I have just recently changed the angel eyes to lux h8 bulbs. I have searched around and have not been able to find a DIY on how to do this. Any help I can get from someone that has done it or anybody who knows how to do it would be greatly appreciated.

You have to remove the wheel and fender liner to access those bulbs - there are no access holes in the pre-LCI cars (at least not on my 9/2006 E92). And you have to be very careful to get the pins on the bulb holder into the holes in the headlight housing before you twist them into their locked position. Its not easy, and if you bend the pins, you'll have to be replacing parts.

Just swapped out the turns on my 07 e92. Turning the wheel and removing the outer 4 screws on the wheel well liner was enough. Absolutely no need to remove the tires. I am guessing the most recent version of the bulbs has remedied any fitment issues because I had no problems seating the bulb or re-installing in the housing. It honestly took longer to turn the wheel and remove the 4 screws than anything else.

Have had my bulbs sitting in the garage for months now, finally got around to attempting install last night and I wound up breaking off most of the handle on the driver side plastic bulb socket.

Are they supposed to twist off easily? I could turn a few degrees but then it wouldn't budge, fingers are killing me now haha. I tried using needle nose pliers to get a better grip and boom- half the plastic snapped off.

Oh yea, how the f am I going to remove the socket without anything to really grip onto now, any ideas??

Otherwise my set will be in the for sale section soon!
