335i is gone
Broke down and traded in my 08 Montego Blue 335i. Sad day, I love bmw but my car was in the shop way more than it should have been. Decided to get a lexus.
Here is my 335i: and my new 2008 ISF w/ 4,800 miles: I loved my BMW, but tired of being in the shop and decided on an upgrade. |

Nice pick up. The IS-F was definitely on my list, even test drove it when looking at cars. The wife and I decided on the 335 though because the back seat in the BMW fit the car seat slightly better.

Ya, the interior literally looks like its brand new off the show room floor.
All the reviews all talk about how harsh the ride is in the earlier ISF models. But honestly I dont think its very bad at all. Nothing that I dont expect from a car like the ISF or M3. I only had the stock sport suspension on my 335, so it def handles way better and less body roll. Prolly the same as someone with a 335 on coil overs. |

Would you mind telling us the specs on your 335i and what they gave you as far as trade in? And also how much you picked up the ISf for?

Say what you want, but my 335i had a redic crazy long list of stuff that broke and was fixed under warranty. It amounted to over $7,000 in repairs if I had to pay for it. I got tired of living in the BMW service Dept every month and a half for 2.5 years.

I can understand the move, especially when having so many problems with the 335. The IS-F is a cool car no doubt. I would have moved to an M3 because I really do not think the IS-F is that good looking, inside or out.
But beauty is in the eye of the beholder, enjoy the new car! |
