What options do we have for the Interior trim? Brushes Aluminum is a popular choice I guess?

The Vinyl lasts quite a long time, 5+ years.

The wrap job would stay on for at least 2 years on the exterior (interior is much longer). Given no one has peeled a corner or purposely damaged it. I drove around with wrapped 335 for the past 2.5 years, rain, snow and hail. Nothing has fallen apart nor peeled. Rock chips are the only thing, but thats for all cars.
If the vinyl is tucked in (wrapped around the panel) instead of trimmed off by the edge. That step will reinforce the the rigidity of all vinyl wraps. Night and day difference

Upkeep -
If its gloss wrap, don't use brushes at coin wash. That will leave scratch marks.
White or light coloured wraps, don't use vinyl cleaner and conditioner. it will leave a highlighter green hue to it for a few month before it slowly fades out.
Matte wraps gets stained with Gasoline, so when pumping gas becareful where that last drip lands.
Mr. Clean magic eraser is a must. I keep one in my glove box and one in my trunk. Its really magic.
Would a roof wrap be able to withstand a touchless car wash? Also, when it's time to remove the wrap, either because it has been damaged or it's just time to do so, is it something that I just peel off or is it another professional job?

Thanks for your response, sorry I am not too up to speed on wraps, but am interested.

Yes. The wrap can (at least my wraps) withstand the cloth and rubber touch car washes. But i still suggest using touchless. I do that every week or so.
You can just simply peel off the vinyl. There are vinyl removing tools or specific methods to use to save your self time.

Hi,

Were you able to remove the window trim around an e92 without having any bent trim issues? I'm interested in having my window trim done in gloss black. Can you post some pics of the trim work you have done.

Thank you very much.

Hey.

I didnt take any pics of the last window trim I did.
this sunday I have another window trim to do. Ill make sure to post some pics.

Nope, No bents. You just have to be careful with the piece that slides out towards the doors. and maybe take care when you are lifting the long piece on the doors. And actually remove the mirrors to get access to the small strip in front.

Steering wheel insert can be done. But I need to disconnect the power from the trunk and pop off the airbag column and then access the steering wheel trim.

Its a few hours of work. but can be done.
