Loaners **BMW of SF*

Anyone know if they will give me a loaner if I bring it in for a passenger system restraint issue? I'm 24 but the car is registered under my sibling's name. I am going to call tomorrow and find out anyway. Just wondering if anyone had a previous experience.

If you call in ahead, you should be able to secure yourself a loaner if the work is going to take a while. But I heard the service at BMW SF is pretty bad to begin with, might recommend some other shop if you had a choice. Weatherford BMW?

Weatherford BMW is where I bought the car, but from the forums people have said to stay away from the service dept. Any case the error went away for some reason. So I guess I'll have to wait and see if the error comes back.

I believe you have to schedule a few weeks in advance. Otherwise, they will offer a ride in their shuttle or a taxi voucher to your destination, but you will have to find your own way back to the dealer.

I recommend against their service too. While I bought the car from there and
the experience was perfect (and the price too), their service department is
pretty bad.

So if you can take your car somewhere else, do so.

If you have to go there, then in order to secure a BMW loaner you would have
to call in advance probably a couple of weeks. Otherwise they will put you in
a dingy rental car from enterprise.

I work in Menlo Park, live in SSF - where would you guys recommend I take my car in for service? I bought the car at Concord, but that's too far to take it for service.

Hey, what loaners are usually given out? I got an X3, since they didn't have any loaners left, some stock car w/o the Loaner sticker on the back. I know u get to pick if they r available, but which cars can u specify?
