I can help you out. Are you swapping struts too? As in are you getting Koni yellows, or are you going with stock?

I am thinking of getting mine lowered also. Maybe we can get a group buy rate at tunerworks if we can round up enough people.

I was going to get mine done in the next couple weeks. Shenis Auto Trend might be able to do it since they deal with BMW's all the time. Also Tirecraft on Mcleoud and 57th.

Just got my coilovers installed yesterday at Tirecraft on Macleod Trail and 57th, just by silverhill acura. They did a really good job and did an alignment as well.

Do you live in Edmunchuk or Cowtown?
I want to see your wheels in person.

Glenn - have you got your Mor's (and are you bringing them to Calgary to have them installed when you PDI your car)?

I'll bring the Morr's down for the next Calgary meet.
They are still finalizing the colors so it'll be May at least before I have the wheels. I am still debating 265 or 275 on the rear. Hopefully I'll have the Dinan Intercooler by then too. We can go for a ride |

That is like the question of the year.
I have been looking at 19X9.5 wheels and want to go with 275. ET30. Some people say mild rolling, some say nothing with stock sport susp. Some (EAS) say that there is major fender modifications required. ugh. haha So let me get this straight. With all the hate against Calgary BMW dealers and love for Edmonton dealers, you bought a car in Calgary, but live in Edmonton?

The Edm BMW was pure snob. I got bad vibes several times there, one salesguy totally ignored an appoinment, then when it came to getting to a deal with a better sales guy $500 off the car, and they still had no info. on the BMW individual. No thanks.
The Calgary BMW guy I have worked with has been awesome. I cannot say enough good things. The parts guy has been awesome too, and to top it all off I got a better deal there. I know, maybe my case is a fluke. I do think it is totally dependent on the sales guy. My guy is not a door greeter. He has his own clients and works through other leads. The door greeter guys I think at times can be ass hatches. Problem is so many tire kickers and I bet that burns a guy out. Not a good excuse but a reality. I even met one of the managers at Calg. BMW through Bimmerfest, he was awesome too. I'd gladly refer my Calg. BMW sales guy to anyone. He really is quality. |
