Warranty options
Hi all,
My car's warranty runs out mid jan and I need to get it sorted. I want a BMW Extended warranty as I might eventually choose to give it back through AUC. Also; I'm scared for my turbo long term and wouldn't dare drive the car without a warranty. Is there any way to get the price down from the quoted £429 ? Any tips would be grand. Cheers.

£429 is cheap dude, imagine something silly fails like an electric seat, window motor etc etc, will pay for its self and make the car much easier to sell (should you sell next year) but once bmw runs out, thats it, you cant go back.
if i had the option, i would extend.

Of course there is. I assume you are arranging this online?
I went for Comprehensive cover with a £100 excess - £349 per annum for my 330i msport. Just lop of the BMW emergency service cover. It's no better than the AA / RAC, but costs twice as much. |

There was no option to remove the emergency cover on mine? And they charged 427
Just renewed, but as they are FSA registered I can cancel / "cool off" right? So how do you remove that cover. Maybe as my car has 56k on the clock they weren't prepared to let me change it.. don't really know ?

When I renewed in Sept you could choose from 3 levels of cover, with or without emergency service. I paid £349 for a 330i with 60k miles on the clock. |

There were no further tick boxes only the 3 levels of cover.
I'll give them a call tomorrow
