Good luck with that one. When I was 17 I was caught doing more than that in my 1970 Duster. My car was impounded, I was locked up for that day until parents picked me up and had my license suspended for 1 year. Lucky mine was in the deserted desert on the back side of Palm Springs. Back in the 80's a ticket 20 mph over the speed limit was a guarantee loss of license. I am not sure if this has changed from then to now. I wish you the best on this one. After I got my license back I went from a V8 to a 3 Cylinder Chevy sprint. Sad thing is that I got more tickets in that little sprint than any other car I owned.

Keep us posted on your outcome. Tell them your accelerator pedal stuck. Seems to be working lately.

Dude why are you driving that fast? It's very dangerous you can kill urself and worst case killing an innocent being. Your going to need alot of credit on those credit cards of yours. I just spoke with my brother who is a lawyer in south jersey and he told me your f*cked. And the fact that the cop wrote you a high risk to cause a motor vehicle accident they might take your license away. HE even said he is surprised that they didn't impound your car and arrest your dumb ass. I would be more than just worried i would be scared of losing your license for at least 6mo to a yr.

Good Luck

That was very popular back in the 80's and early 90's. All car clubs had the windows painted. Maybe PM me direct on comments to my photos as I did not want to take away from the OP's thread. I just wanted to show a photo of what got my license pulled back in 1988.

Dude, there is no help for you at this point...

1. Radar Detectors are your friend, State Troopers in NY and NJ use KA band Detectors and Laser, if your gonna be driving that fast, you need a detector.
2. Even with a detector, WTF are you driving 108 in a 55 for?
3. You are most likely going to loose your license over this, I hope it was worth it...

Good Luck, and I hope I'm wrong, but if I was the judge, That's what I would do, take your license. That's reckless, and not only did you put your own life at risk, but everyone else on the highway.

Def need a lawyer as least to retain your license...You show up to court without a good attorney and you will get hit really hard.....Being that you have no points on your license, an attorney can bargain with the DA and reduce some of the charges...Good luck man
