Smile Kazman Ride Thread - Red E90

Purchased my first bmw about 2 weeks ago. LOVE it so far!

The previous owner kind of abused it so it has some minor dings / scratches to fix... but i plan on making this my "project" car.

First order of business will be to slam it to the ground. Ive done some research and will either go with KW V1's or Sonic Tuning coilovers. More then likely Sonic Tuning because of the style of coilover they use. I plan on going the "stanced" route.

Im also big into photography so I must warn yall there will be tons of pictures in this thread! lol

Looking forward to learning from everyone!

Photography gear:
Canon 7D with grip
-50mm f1.4
-Sigma 10-20 wide angle
-28-135 kit lens

Hmmm if you want to go for stance as you put it I would recommend BC Racing coilovers, and get the extreme drop kit. What wheels do you have in mind for the car? God eclipse are crappy cars I worked at Mitsubishi.....no offense btw

Screw KW for slamming they just dont go low enough from personal experince. I'd say if your hearts set on the 2 listed abover go with sonics.

If I were to do it all over again BC Extreme Drop Coilovers, no questions asked.

Well with the both of you recommending the BC extreme drops ill have to look into them! Honestly i thought the Sonic's offered the most drop but i didnt know BC made an extreme drop setup. my whole objective for this build is LOW!

If I knew how to give you guys erep on this forum, I would!

i plan on going with "real" wheels... no replicas.

ive been tossing some ideas around with these specs.
front: 18x10 +19
rear: 18x12 +28 or an 11 with equivalent offset if the backspacing puts it too close to the strut.

got the specs from looking at bpsu07's setup, but with 3mm smaller offset in the front.

what brands do you have access too?

Only way to go is with real wheels. Rember im a LCI E90 so wider tear axle but my last set up was 18x10 from front 245/35 and 18x11.5 rear 285/30 CCW classics fully swissed polished lips orange powder coated face

My new set my boy just finished for me is WORK VS-XX 10" front 12" rear haven't mounted yet cause its winter so I'm not releasing offsets and tire size. Fully polished inner barrels, brushed clear centers, gold hardware and we chromed the outer lips for something different then other WORK set ups here's a few pics

If you need something made or have am idea and your budget gimme a shout and we see if there's anything for you

if that eclipse was in Michigan, those bumpers would've ended up on side of the highway already. lol

nice pics though. I got the same camera with same grip. And 50mm 1.4 lens. I also have an L 24~105mm lens. Best lens I have ever used!

Project335 how much lower can your coilovers go? Because I had the bc's and the struts can only be turned down so far, while the sonic tuning can turn down all the way.

Regardless I'm interested to see what you go with OP!
