just uninstall it... connect it to obd and choose uninstall in one of the choices.

That's correct as you would simply need to uninstall the cobb from the car. The Cobb will automatically clear the ecu during this process.

I think you should probably not do this directly before going to the dealership as it will have certain systems/sensors data cleared and they will show as "not ready" in a diagnostics test. There is a procedure for readying the car here: http://www.europeantransmissions.com...0Procedure.pdf

if you take in the car for service the dealer wont care about readyness. they will just connect to see if there are codes and update the service status.
