Ha! I also sprayed my cooper's rims from silver to gunmetal in matte finishing! See the attached pic below.
BTW, did the boss charge you 1.2K or 1.5K?
Thanks! The matte gun metal idea comes from my brother because he used to drive a Z350 in that colour combination.

Oops..he charged me much more than that because I asked him to disassemble the rims to paint so that the screws can stay chrome.

BTW, is the paint durable?

i have recently done my tinting in to kwa wan, but mine is a 2 door. guess it should cost around 2.5k if u need to tint the front windows as well

I painted mine in April and I don't see any issue with the new paint.

Hi all, new here... saw a tinting group buy before for $1.5k, not sure about its quality but I too desperately want to tint my windows.
Anything that would breach the law?

^just to add, because I read from the government site that "any" tinting is actually illegal? Will we be asked to remove it at MOT?

Yup... Any tinting will have to be removed before inspection... Unless you think your tint can pass their light detector 😝

Yup, if your car needs MOT then better not to darken the windows, otherwise you've to remove the film once a year or follow the tinting regulation.
