Question about Paint Protection

Dealer is trying to sell me this paint and fabric protection. It is called TST 5000. Here is the link to their site.

http://www.tst5k.com/

Claims it protects the finish and there is no need to wax the car. Dont know about that....

If anyone has this or know about it, would u please help me out? Dealer was $399 for it.

It's a waste of money - don't buy it. You can use Klasse or Zaino to give you all the protection you need at a fraction of the price.

You should look into the "Wash, Wax, Detailing, and Exterior Repairs" forum. They have discussed topics like this to death now.

The price is reasonable, but for me it's not worth it. You can do the same by carefully claying your car, applying Zaino twice a year and get a much better shine in your car. Also, you can finish it with a high end Carnuba wax if you want truly amazing results. I just did Zaino, no claying, no Carnuba and worked wonders for my car.

Then again, Zaino requires two times per year a lot of work. But I think it's worth it. :rocks:

That is junk. As was mentioned, just get yourself some Klasse or Zaino.

Garage List
I think it's horrendous that a BMW dealership would peddle absolute crap like this, and if I were you, I'd tell them so to their faces.. and I'd also shop elsewhere. It's an insult to the buyer's intelligence and a complete ripoff attempt.
