pretty sure that it goes through the hole where the parking sensors come out through the boot. I thing there is a rubber grommet in the kit to allow both cables through.
Biggest prob I had was finding the white & orange canbus wires ( i think it was orange & white) It was supposed to be in the boot or under/near the rea seats but ended up by the passenger seat pulling off the plastic cover that holds the carpet all along the bottom of the door cill. Right buggers to untwist em to get a connection on em. Also I forgot to order the brackets for the twin pipe exhausts on the 335d so I made some out of stainless threaded bar |

Walshcat,
I drilled a new hole and fitted a grommet. Hole had to be big enough for a plug to fit through, so it was a 38mm one (drilled near one of the crease lines "behind" the battery box) You should be able to get away with a small hole for just the cable (and grommet) if you're using the 7-way relay Mike |

I know some cars need to get a pick up from the front, but I can't remember which at the moment - it will tell you on the wiring instructions before you start.
Getting a wire to the front shouldn't be too bad, just follow the wires down one side at the base of the rear seats, then route them under the threshold plates. Mike |

Its a lot easier to fit these if you have rear parking sensors, no drilling holes and taps in to the can bus by the rear seat rather than having to feed it through to the dashboard.

Fitted mine today, it was a witter one i fitted, full detachable.
Took about 4 hrs in total to fit. As i bought a dedicated wiring kit for it i had to drill a 40mm hole in the rear panel next to the gromet which has the rear parking sensors going through. The wiring is sealed with a large gromet.
