To be honest, neither am I but I am on a tight budget and this one was on sale and the specs seemed very good for my needs.

I am no expert but I have installed a few in previous cars so have some experience. I'm an engineer too so fairly capable of technical tasks lol. But I appreciate your help and wouldn't knock anything anyone tells me if I already know it as you are all very helpful on here!

Whilst on the subject of installing, I think I have everything right in theory. To summarize:
Install fronts and tweeters and using OEM connectors, connect to original wiring.
Install rears in the same manner as fronts with OEM connectors.
Install underseat subs with brand new wiring straight to amp.
Using the OEM wiring in the boot to splice into and connect to amp to get power to the front door and rear shelf speakers. This is the bit I am the least confident about??
Power and ground cables installed to battery and the battery strap as ground?
I already have remote and RCA cables installed from headunit to the boot.
I plan to install the amp under the boot floor in the little cubby so everything is hidden.

Okay, underseat subs and the amp wired up! Just waiting for the door speakers and tweeters to complete my install.

Straight away I have noticed a HUGE improvement. These match speakers pack enough punch to keep me entertained. I am hoping the door speakers and tweeters will lift the highs up and then I will be satisfied

Few pics of the install:

Excuse the messy car!

I tried to place it within the storage area under the carpet lid but it was a little too big to fit properly.

I thought about cutting this carpeted lid over the shallow side of the storage so that just the top face of the amp shows through and all the wiring hidden underneath. Then I couldn't be bothered lol. I think this would look pretty cool as it would be completely flush.
