cat c... what its worth?

hey,

any idea what a 53 plate, manual E60 530d SE with 85k miles is worth?

Its a damaged but fully repaired (back end damge) and now classed as Cat C.

between 3 and 4 k. thats what I would pay. Cat C is normally some serious damage.

he wants £6k which i thought was a bit much. plus the SH was virtually non existent.

i was asking about cat d on a flooded engine. a cat c car would scare me even more, probably will have adverse impact even if fixed on the likes of crumple zone etc.
