^make sure the previous owner of the cobb uninstalls it, if not it will not work on your car.

if you have to take your car in for warranty work then simply uninstall the cobb and dealerships shouldnt be able to trace it. get a bt scanner , and after you uninstall the cobb check to see if anything comes up on the scanner.

i need to get me a bt scanner just to make sure all the codes are gone when/if i have warranty work.

but bro the cobb is day/night difference, the power is insane from stock, it just pulls and pulls

+1. Also, I came across Cobb's Launch Control and Flat-Foot Shift for Soobies. Is this something us 6MT guys can expect in the future on the BMW platform?

Any idea what P2E9F code is for? I also have P2FA3 but I know that just means I am not running stock ECU software... I tried clearing and both come back. I have had the P2FA3 since install (of course) but P2E9F didn't happen until a few days later. I have searched that code and nothing comes up. I don't really see a list for all COBB codes either.

TIA

Cant hurt but wont do much for performance.

The OTS maps are tuned for that octane. If anything it would just ward off any potential knock if you were hot lapping or something on a road track.

awesome, thanks! I actually drove it a ton today and ran some high speeds. Maybe I will just try to clear it again and see what happens, it has been a few days since it popped up and I just changed the oil Friday (don't think I cleared all weekend)...

FYI, many already know this I am sure but I happened to look at my codes again yesterday. If you scroll down and actually "highlight" the code, it gives a brief description (on the AP). I thought that was helpful as well, atleast for a general idea.

Cobb,

Could you guys provide us with a general status update. I understand you prefer not to give time frames as you will be harassed endlessly about them. However, could you give us a quick summary of what you are working on, what stage you might be in, what is on you radar to be the next item to tackle. Thanks

It's definitely something we will investigate but I cannot say for certain if it will ultimately be feasible on this platform. Each ECU and hardware set presents a unique set of challenges. I'll definitely champion for it if it's a heavily-demanded feature

I have not done any extended testing using race gas but Rob's limited testing using unleaded race gas went well, as I recall. It would certainly be a great safety margin if you are using the car under extreme conditions, such as drag racing, track events, etc. I'm not sure about specific mixtures if you intend to blend pump and race gas.

I'll do my best 2007 support is now on track final release as it appears the major issues observed during beta testing have been addressed. v202 maps that add additional throttle mapping options are also close to release. Concurrent background projects include bug fixes, logging improvements, AccessTUNER Race and Stage2 support. I am currently unable to provide an ETA for a completion on those projects, however.

Thanks everyone for your interest and continued support!

Best regards-
Lance

Sweet! Thanks for the update. I will be sending some logs from the beta 2.02 maps your way very soon. From the first looks of it, they definitely need some more work.
