"Devils own" meth kit W/4-AN fitting & Race tank review

Decided to upgrade my meth kit because my other kit (not getting into wich one, this is a review not a bash thread LOL!!) was having issues with air in the lines. I contact Devils own and ordered the following below and it intergrates with the JB4 FSB perfectly. Devils own customer service is way above expectations...aswered every Email and I was able to tell them the length of the lines I needed and the kit was shipped the next day!

Tank: I LOVE this tank...has a baffle/sump built in so you can take the fluid down low (I never do) and is beneficial when taking hard corners ect. The tank is built exactly like a fuel cell...VERY thick....you could stand on this tghing and it wouyld not budge. The lid is awesome...seals very well and tou just twist the insert and it suctions down..twist in oposite direction and un-seals. I also like the vented allen screw fitting, not just a hole drilled in the tanks cap.

Note: If you get the race tank you will have to have push in fittings from pump to tank.

Fittings: Greatest part of kit, so much easier to purge your systen not fighting a "push in fitting" and the nozzle just stays in place forever (unless you have to clean the nozzle).

Nozzle/Nozzle holder: I really like the design of there nozzle with the screw in filter. I love the Nozzle holder with the 4-An fitting as stated above...easy to purge and the Nozzle holder will alow you to use a CM nozzle also.

Selonoid: Pretty much all are the same, except I do like the thicker wires on this unit and of course the 4-AN fittings.

Pump: Works great, pumps are pretty much the same also...this one is rated at 250 psi.

Installed pics/Notes:

If you run yours like I did You will need 1X 14 ft hose (Had a foot extra just incase) 1X 10" piece (From selonoid to nozzle.

Note: If you have 4-AN fittings on tank you will need a 2-3 foot piece here with a 90 degree fitting on your line....depends on your set-up.

I am VERY satisfied with this set-up, meth flows great and response is instant:

intergrates with the BMS FSB via the selonoid.

Moved the selonoid much closer (From 12" to 3") to nozzle, less drain and possible better response.

Looks good. What lengths did you end up needing for the stainless steel lines? Would they be the same for an E92?

depends on how you install it...mine where 14 ft and I had 1ft+ left over and a 3' line from nozzle to selonoid....on a E92 it would be at least 18" shorter than that...around 12 ft I would guess.

Wow great thread. This will help answer a lot of questions for some of my customers.

It should be noted and you mentioned above Devils Own Stainless steel lines can be custom made to fit you needs you just need to know the sizes you need. Since every kit may be a little different along with the orientation its up to the end user to know and decide what they need.

Great thread!

totall agree, there are so many ways to route the line it can vary easily. I always think a bit to much is better than not enough! Also, some CP's have different meth bung configurations.

I may go to a dual nozzle (DO7 & DO10) wich devils own also has in 4-AN.

Also: 90 degree fittings can be added to any line for no extra charge.

Here are the parts I got:

Here is what I got:

250psi pump:

http://www.alcohol-injection.com/en/...tion-pump.html

4-AN Stainless line upgraded: (Comes with nozzle holder, pump fittings, selonoid fittings) but be sure to put in comments you are NOT using a ckeckvalve but a 250 psi selonoid.

http://www.alcohol-injection.com/en/...-line-set.html

250psi Selonoid: (Be sure to select 4-AN)

http://www.alcohol-injection.com/en/...-solenoid.html

Nozzle: (Depends on your mods.....I have the largest DO14)

http://www.alcohol-injection.com/en/49-nozzles

Tank: (If getting race tank you will need a push in fitting on inlet of pump)

http://www.alcohol-injection.com/en/...mped-tank.html

You will need a BMS FSB (if using a JB4):

Good stuff. I guest the best plan would be to use some rope/string and run it where I plan to run the lines and measure it up.

Wire's up just like the cool mist selonoid does...there are 2 wires and one goes to the green wire (flow) and the other one goes to the red pump wire and inline fuse (power). Wires are not polarity specific.

I'm not running a meth system at the moment, so I'll be putting it together from scratch. You've been a huge help, though. I always felt the standard kits left a little on the table when it came to leak prevention. Appreciate it.

Yea the D014 is quite an agressive nozzle. Your better off with 2 smaller nozzles. When you go over 10 it turns into a fire hose and atomization really goes down the tubes, no pun intended.

lol!!! Plus I am running a 80-90 additive (N20 sensor alows higher additives). Do you think a DO7 and DO10 sounds good? That DO14 is a fire hose! I saw a supra with 5 DO14's man....I was like

depends on your mods....with me hitting 22psi I will need more meth than say someone with 15-18psi. Most setups would do fine with a DO10.
