im new to all this and maybe my understanding is just flawed..=\
No worries we all have start somewhere, but offset really works other way around. When you add spacer it will decrease the offset and push the wheel more out. So et38+10mm spacer really is et28. Basically low offset push the wheel out and high offset will retract the wheel in.

Wheel Specs:

Front Wheels: VMR Wheels VB3 19x9.5 ET33
Front Tires: 235/35/19 General Exclaim UHP

Rear Wheels: VMR Wheels VB3 19x10 ET38 + 5mm Spacer (19x10 ET33)
Rear Tires: 265/30/19 General Exclaim UHP

After 200-300 miles of driving, I can report no rubbing.... fenders are not rolled either! Same tires before/after, and as expected, no change in performance or handling characteristics.

Have a great long weekend

I got this exact set up after reading this post minus spacers but I rub slightly when turning wheel all the way to make sharp turns-__-

I was about to get this setup... so you rub on your inner fender on full lock?
Same tires and size?

Do you have coilovers? Some of those have less clearance than stock shocks. Also if the tyre is wider than the wheel edge, then it's the tyre that hits. Any way add 3-5mm spacer and problem solved.

Yes i do have coilovers. I had to use my 15mm or 12mm for the front. My friend said it fit just perfectly, but kind of sticks out too much. Hopefully adding a 5mm would be a better fit. I am running 235/35 on the 9.5. BTW this is a E92. I am currently deployed.

no rubbing in the front, but only in the rear so I rolled it just a little and it cleared.

Thanks to Charles VMR for his great customer service and 1clean335 for his advise on getting the 19x10.
I have the sport springs too and I was wondering if I'd be able to do this same setup... now I'm sold

Sure you can, but if you want to fit 265/30/19 to front you will need negative camber, which means camber plates. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...6&postcount=38 Also possibly 3-5mm spacer, so the wider tyre clears inside.

If you go with 19x9.5 et33 with 235/35/19 front and 19x10 et25 with 265/30/19 rear. Only thing you need is fender roll to rear. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...89&postcount=3

VMR v710

Think I can do this same fitment using the VMR v710 wheels on an LCI M-Sport e92?

so what makes your wheels (VMR) more concave? I love the 718s and the vb3s and want to get as concave as possible... is it the wheel width or offset? I know vb3 is more concave than the 718 by default but what makes it so you can "go crazy with the concavity?"

Width. Wider is more concave. Lower offset is just thicker backside.

I've been asking around trying to get a concurrence on tire fitment.
I'm about to pull the trigger on V810's for my E92

f: 19x8.5 ET 33
R: 19x9.5 ET 35

Fronts will be 245/35/19 and for the rears I would like to run S-04's which only come in 275/35/19 not the usual 275/30/19.

Is it stupid/wrong/silly in any way to run the 275/35? The front is lowered about .5 inch on SP perches and the rear is stock height. Rear Fenders are rolled btw

It could cause issues with DSC/ABS etc, because the tyres rotate different speeds. I have 225/40/18 and 235/40/18 which has 1.2% difference and i occaosionally get red light from tyre pressure, but my system monitors the rotating speeds from ABS system. It could have also been caused my bad battery, but still less difference is better.

Fitting Question to Peter@VMRWheels:
I'm planning to put V710 19x8.5" ET35/19x10" ET38 on my 2011 E92 335i LCI M-sport with F:245/35ZR19 and R:285/30ZR19. Suspension will remain original M-sport, Don't want any fender work and spacer as needed. Will this setup fit my car which is a daily drive with no problem?
best regards,
Kevin

Hey so im trying to fit 2014 513m (18x9 et29) wheels on my pre-lci
e90. I did a test fit (with out tires) and the rim looked to come past of the fender slightly and looked REALLY close to the shocks on the inside, any recomendations on how I can make this set up work and what tire size? Im currently running stock sports suspension.

Question to the VMR pros
I just got used V703 with the following specs
Front: 19x8.5 et40
Rear: 19x9.5 et 35
I'm planning on putting 235x19 in front and 265x19
I have 12mm spacer in front and back and was wondering if there will be any rubbings once I install the wheels/tires in the spring on my pre-lci e93 with stock suspensions??
Thanks,

Front shouldn't be problem, but rear will most likely rub.

Thanks for the input. I'm gonna try to find 5mm instead of the ones I have now.

Have an 09 e90 335istocl suspension and no fender mods with 19x10 et38. Will a 275 35 19 hankook ventus v12 be a problem in the rear?
