As far as warranty work its really not much of a difference. The one on Sahara prob sees more cars so by that logic prob has less time to hassle you about small stuff when it comes to warranty claims

good deal, appreciate it.

I hate asking this, because every car is different, and I've searched/read plenty of threads on here about reliability, but this would be my first time venturing into BMWs....any of you guys riding around without a warranty? or would you say it's a must/pays itself in terms of saving on long term costs of little break downs here and there. Granted I'm not looking to get a 335 or anything and it seems the 328/330 is a little more hassle free just cause it has less things to worry about...

Also, how's the bmw community in the local area? you guys get together from time to time, have tech days, things like that?

I'm no expert but IMO I'd say a warranty is a must have on a 335 and not so much of a need on a n52. Although just like you stated its a hit or miss on every vehicle in terms of reliability.

I'm have an aftermarket extended warranty, which got void along time ago due to my mods . I say warranties are only for daily drivers that that you wouldn't mod. Warranty companies would try to find just about anything to void it. That's why I do all my maintenace myself. Has far as a hassle free car, it's all in how the car is maintained. I know guys that had bigger maintenance bills on their 328i than my 335i.
As far as tech days, have them pretty much as needed. Just post up what you need done.

I'll tell you what, you give me your rims and you can have my turbos! Haha
Not even joking I dreamt about those things. Spent half the day perusing the M3 forum looking for some at a good price!

No idea what to do next as far as mods go. LED fogs came in also threw some PM offers for a couple little things. Damaged vorsteiner lip, discontinued duke rear bumper etc lol. Any advice I'm all ears

It all depends on the goal for the car. Do you want a head turner, more performance, or the best of both world.

Since you have the hood, wheels, and M3 side skirts, maybe more aggressive parts. Drop (maybe lowering perches if you don't want to go too low), aggressive bumper, or a spoiler.

Yea, I think you're right

I need to get my fenders rolled, found a place online in town called DAPS on Sahara and Lamb. Going to see if they can get it done for me. See how low I can get away with.

Thanks buddy.

Currently replacing head gasket and oil filter housing gasket on the gfs e46 and I'm stuck. Would really appreciate if you guys can spread the word, thanks!
