Unless BMW Canada adjusts their prices, I think that this will be my last BMW.

The C63 and the IS-F have both come in under the M3 price.

Thats also base price.. what was base for your cab? Dont forget, the cab is significantly more then the coupe in Canada. Or any NON cab for that matter.

I dunno about you guys but Benz doesnt do it for me.. I would take my coupe over the c63 for the same price.. No manual being offered in their cars is silly. Like they're above it or something. Probably gets horrid mileage too.

The point of this is not that the C63 is a great car or the quality is good or not. The point is that the M3 is overpriced!

The C63 and the IS-F are competitors that are coming in at a far lower price. I am curious to see what the new S4/RS4 will come in at.

Personally, I am not buying another manual car. The Auto/SMG/DCT/SST/DSG boxes that are out now are better in my opinion.

The M3 is no saint when it comes to mileage either. You can't expect a 451hp V8 to sip fuel.

When was the last time you drove a car with manual windows? haha

What are the performance numbers to be expected from the C63??

Being somebody that can afford a BMW or Benz.. fuel economy and fuel prices should be of relative little concern when in comparison to your earning potential to be able to afford the vehicle in the beginning. -- that being said... if it isn't your car or you didn't pay for it, you should care less because you don't have payments.

I like Auto now too. I don't think I'd get another manual car too. But than again, I don't think I'd get a C class benz. The interior just doesn't cut it for me. The car is a lot nicer for the older generation. I just don't feel that center display that pops up above the center console that makes the radio look like a 1940s analog tuner. But to each is their own.

I agree. If you find the car too expensive, why buy it in the first place. You OBVIOUSLY got the BMW because you thought it was reasonablly priced compared to other compariable models from competitors.

I am half asian. It is my right to complain about prices and be cheap... hahahahhaha

Anyway, when BMW does drop their price, and they will, there will be a lot more complaining in this part of the forum. People already complain about having an 8% interest rate on their lease because they got their cars last summer.

I am with you, BMW should lower their price. Even we can afford doesn't meant we want to get rip off! I am a guy that will negociate even buying a pack of gum....

But neway, I still think MB quality sucks.

I strongly agree that the price point is a good precedent. One more reason for BMW to reduce the M3 price to reasonable levels. Base M3 price in the US is only $55K, close to what our 335 costs. Main reason why I opted to get a 328 instead, no offence to those who bought the 335.

I have a friend who's taking delivery of a new C63 AMG ... . The price that he was quoted was $63K base, $70K loaded. He's taking delivery early June (Calgary)

I could also probably get used to the interior .... the seats look comfy >>

Once again.. to each is their own. I like the 2-door 335. The C63 looks like it has gobs of power and that'd be nice. But the styling has me looking elsewhere.
