330i Tyre Pressure?

[NB. Yes, I *have8 used the Search facility, but.....]

What pressure are 330i owners running on their tyres? I have 18" wheels, runflats, a mix (I think) of Potenzas and Bridgestones.

On my 320d, I ran 32 on the front and 36 on the rears. What should I be running on the 330i?

Does it not say on the door jamb or are you looking for something more empirical?

Yes, sorry, looking for psi ratings, not 'bar'. Also want to know what people actually run.

You can calculate it with the same system as the European tire- and car- manufacturers still use. I once got hold of it and worked it out.
Learned myself Excell to make spreadsheets for it.
Translated a few to English to go worldwide with it.
( so sorry for wrong words and spelling, native speech is Dutch).

http://cid-a526e0eee092e6dc.office.l...0tyre-pressure
In this map spreadsheets and examples for re-calculating for non OEM tyres.
But can also be used to check the original, and see if you can go lower savely for sertain conditions.
To download the spreadsheets click on the name on top of page of it when the browser gives the remark that it cant be opened in the browser because of protection and data-validation. Then it gives a page where you can click download on top. Once downloaded you can open it in Excell or likewise programm to work with it. If you cant work it out, give me the details , and I will do it for you.
From this link you can navigate my complete public map of skydrive for more, like in a forum.

Yes, mine are 225/255 too. Chart on door says (for normal load) I should run 2.6 bar on the fronts, 2.9 on the rears. So that would be 37 psi front, 43 rears. Can that be right?

Potenzas ARE Bridgestones

Can't help with the tyre pressures, although I agree that listing them in bar will take some getting used to... My pressure gauge only works in psi

Yes Potenzas are indeed Bridgestones, I misspoke. Think all 4 tyres are Potenzas. Not had time to check pressures yet. Bit disturbed by not being able to hOld The steering wheel straight on rough motorway surfaces, mane need to have my alignments checked?

Is it just tramlining? Mine's pretty bad in lane 1 where the HGVs have worn grooves in the tarmac, but lanes 2 and 3 it's fine...

Edit: Apologies, just read the other thread where you say it's not.

It's weird. Its like I absolutely cannot hold the steering wheel straight. Surely I would have noticed that on the same road with my 320d?
