I'm still puzzled by the way this wheel company lies on their website.
Surely the yanks who love to sue, even if you just look at them the wrong way, could get their lawyers to squeeze some serious coin from them for lying and decieving on their website. These wheels are dodgy chineese, made in Taiwan alloys. They are made by using Italian equipment. But on their home page, they have suddenly become ALL ITALIAN MADE. Certainly sounds sweeter saying you have imported Italian Alloys on your BMW... rather than the truth - "yeah my wheels on my Beemer are direct from Taiwan" Everything about this mob and their distributors are shonky - wouldn't go near them would be my advice to any poor soul considering buying wheels. Collectively we should all now do some research and post links to reputable wheel sellers and manufacturers so unsuspecting purchasers can buy from reputable sources. .

Correct - the MACHINES are Italian made... the wheels are made in Taiwan.
Their website says ALL ITALIAN MADE. The wheels ARE NOT Italian made.... and their is no reference on their site to the wheels being made in Taiwan. Blatant misleading wording - ALL ITALIAN MADE - my arse.

"I think it's a bit over the top to suggest that DTM have used commercial pressue to have this removed".
OK, with all due respect, as an experienced forum member, perhaps you could explain to a relative newby (first and only forum I have ever been a member of) why ALL my threads have been removed, bar the one that has been closed immediately after DTM's reply (won't enter into the validity of it) I did not post any, foul language, porn photos, or in any other way break the rules as far as I am aware. How can I come to any other conclusion ?? Michael. |

What did you get banned for? PS - I don't think we are allowed to talk about getting banned. The last time I did, I got an extra ban.

That explains things, removal not performed by a mere Mod (sorry Tony & Viv), but the site owner, must have ruffled some big feathers ! Have PM'd Jason as to why, not received a reply yet, but they are still in bed at this time, so will have to wait for answer as to why. Michael. Last edited by MERLIN335i; 03-21-2011 at 05:52 AM.. |

lol - I wonder if the last group buy thread will get removed then.....
All kinda goes wrong after delivery (post #170) where the collapsed pallet can be witnessed as well as the extra-ordinary cling film packaging binding the boxes together shame the boxes were not attached to the pallet tho! http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...oup+buy&page=8 Hopefully people will see exactly what Alufelgen were like (and obviously still are) I believe they went under the guise of MORR Alloys before - 'SerJames' can prob comment on the poor quality of his wheels after waiting an eternity to have them delivered. |

Just thought I would post this comment from "CSSNMS" was posted on my thread in Vendors Feedback, just before it was closed.
MAN THAT REALLY SUCKS! DTMRACK has not had a good month. "I will admit as a buyer of Alufelgen wheels, although I think the product is great, their packaging STINKS. I had to send one wheel back due to some minor damage because the finish was worn along one edge (the damage was clearly due to insufficient packaging, despite they blamed FedEx). I will say that Alufelgen took care of it right away though. It's to bad they don't package these wheels like they do the Morr's. I don't think consumers would mind even paying a little more to have their wheels packaged appropriately, not to mention it would mitigate the reputational risk to Alufelgen". |

It's not just DTM, it involves Alufelgen as well who are the manufacturer. I use that term lightly (manufacturer), as I'd imagine the wheels are manufactured for them, in much the same way as BBS,Ronal and others do for BMW. If you look at the other thread running in the vendors section that involves Alufelgen/DTM, which depending on how you see it is not as bad as Michael's experience,it's still running, why's that then? It's obvious, despite the OP's experience it has been turned on it's head by those who can only read and unbelievably buy into the marketing and bullshit PR that is being spouted by the very people who are in the wrong. But yes, sponsors pay to sell their goods on this and other forums. Sponsors don't like bad press, forum owners like it even less,it means less income for them, unless of course the bad press vanishes See you on PH Don't hold your breath Michael, you'll pass away! |

The thread was removed because 1) no less than 5 threads stating the exact same thing were posted all over the forums and 2) vendor feedback threads belong in the vendors feedback forum.
The remaining thread in the vendors feedback forum has now been closed because both buyer and vendor have had a chance to air our their positions. It was going to continue to spiral downward as a he-said-he-said thread with no end in sight. There has been no hiding of the issue or thread and the record remains for members to read and to make their own decisions regarding conducting business with the vendor. And for those who think this was done for commercial reasons, why then does the single thread even remain visible, or why does the vendors feedback forum even exist for that matter?
