Hid install on e90 pre lci halogen

What else do I need to install hids on low beam and fog lights on a 08 e90 pre lci halogen , cancelers? Relays ?

Are you installing one of those "ebay kits" or doing it properly? (Projector headlights, LCM recode...)

I HATE when people just stick the bulb into their halogen housing.. it blinds EVERYONE and it looks really bad (+cheap).
