Since you did a dyno dynamics(reads low) those values should be close to a new record. Try to get on a dynojet and see whats up.
Like I said, the higher timing map I ran just as a comparison made 457.7 whp and 510 wtq. It's an increase, but clearly not worth the risk. At this point, it's just dyno power. If you can't hold that timing post shift, it's not doing you any good.

Did you dyno with 15 degree oft timing map vs your cobb map? What risks did you find with the higher timing map?

Considering the advantages of high ethanol contents, wouldn't you be able to safely raise the timing without major risk?

do some researching, the higher timing was giving issues to users who weren't running in peak condition. Meaning melting pistons.

We are getting off topic as this was only a comparison. After much debate, we both agree the risk is not worth the reward. With that said, going forward all tunes will follow the COBB model and max timing will never exceed 13.5 deg.

The part I like the most is the boost curve holding all the way to redline not tapering. Those poor poor stock turbos.

Holy crap what did I just read, I'm very happy for this change. Rather than say what I'm sure everyone here who knows me knows, I want to congratulate you for the solid numbers and coming back into evidence based tuning strategies verified by dyno and MBT values for your particular setup. Hopefully I can be a proponent of your tuning now, this all sounds good to me.

Very cool! I've spoken several times with both these guys and they are both great!

Ken I'll have to redownload "what's app" and maybe we can mess around with my RBs like we planned a few months ago

Completely agree, glad to see you continuing to do amazing things on this platform.

Impressive numbers, but that graph is soooo peaky though. Losing almost 100+ lbs-ft from 4500-6000.

Easy fix... . It was deliberately clamped down to prevent wheel spin during tests on the roads. More dynos to come with leashes off from old and new N54, coming soon IJE0S AT timing flatline fixes also

Send all inquiries about pricing to @Wedgeperformance . When we start locking our maps pricing will change.

Customers will then have in the future two options of maps, locked or unlocked. The unlocked map pricing will go up and the locked maps will take the place of the current unlocked map pricing which is very competitive

Why did you change the tuning platform from oft to cobb?

Ken never ran the JB4. He simply provided solutions for those running a JB4/Backend stack.

Not to take away anything from your work or anything but my fbo xi rumning Cobb stage 2+aggressive but down 415 hp/435 tq on a Dyno dynamics after doing 360/390 on a Dyno jet with the same equipment and tune.

Obviously you have still made some serious gains but dyno dynamics dynos can read really high depending on how they are setup.
