335d Amazing Fuel economy

I have recently purchased a 335d coupe and not only am I blown away by the performance (similar to my impreza) but its also achieving great fuel economy (same as my diesel astra)

Was on a motorway drive of about 20 miles sitting with the cruise control on at 70mph and it averaged 54mpg!

Does everyone else get this or was it new ownership fluke? No doubt I will start being a bit heavier footed :-)

What Seberio did you have? What HP also. You bought Malc's old car. Very nice indeed.

He left the re-map on yeah?

Also you have a previous version of the i-drive software with the brown screen.

Is it good or bad that I have the old idrive software and is it worth upgrading?

I still actually have my scooby. Its a Jap import STI8 (blobeye) with 345bhp.
It was a bit of a flame thrower lol

What time and mph did you run?

Ill think you will find that your 335d over 100mph will be quicker.

The GT-R ran a what?

Also I amazed to see you managed 50+mpg, you must drive like miss daisy.

If you click the link at the bottom it works, but doesnt seem to shop up as embedded on this forum (might be my fat fingers)

I ran a 12.9 at 105mph I think. The guy in the GTR took me out later and ran an 11second run. it was rapid!

My 50+mpg was just sitting on a flat motorway with the cruise control set at 70. Was amazed when I saw it
