I've had a JB4 for a while now and yes, it's great BUT...I just had a loaner '12 z4 35i with DCT and a gurgling/popping exhaust and I after only 4 days I almost would be willing to trade the extra power for that sound. |

i mean, thats just my opinion. i dont think exhausts are really worth it(500-2500). I run a muffler delete, cheap, saves weight, and sounds great to me. drones but people say even PE drones (which drones immensely less then a muffler delete) id save some cash and play with your stock exhaust before spending the money. the money for exhausts are really paying for how well an exhausts sounds without any drone. which is hard because im sure that if people think PE drone alot, you'll hate everything else. i dont think an exhaust will be the deal breaker in a race either. you really get minimal hp gains. Though a great sounding car is alot more enjoyable. |

Thank you
From local retailer, but you can get them from Apex themselves. http://www.apexraceparts.com/ Or from vendors from this site. http://www.e90post.com/forums/member.php?u=166978

My #1 fav mod is the muffler delete. I haven't heard an aftermarket muffler or system that can compare. The way they designed the cats & pipes, pulling the muff out yields an amazing sound! I get tons of compliments on the sound and am asked all the time "what muffler are you running???" Answer is simple: Exactly....what muffler???
We all know that louder feels faster, even if it isn't.

Can't argue the cost effectiveness of the MD though. Cost me a total of under $100

Really hard to pick just one:
1. JB4 G5 (with a little E85 in the tank) for the go-fast 2. Dinan FFE for the sound 3. CSL deck lid for looks but I guess I would actually put them in that order...
