$20k? there's one on ebay right now for $10k. they aren't that rare, and with the new M3/M4 out, there's no way the values will stay that high. Just look at the S54 - it used to be super expensive, but now you can get them all day long for $2500.
I guess whenever something new is out, old get much cheaper, but still new are always better, and will always be your desire.
BTW, the 25K was for a complete swap bumper to bumper not only the engine

Okay, that is completely insane! It'd be cheaper for us to ship our cars to Egypt, have the work done and then shipped back!

To be honest, considering the time frame, it probably wouldn't be released until Bimmerfest West 2015. That'll give them time to release it in front of thousands.

I hope the 28 series sc gets done before the end of the year. If it doesn't ill probably just build it n/a. I've been holding off on all performance mods because of this thread but SS headers are just so tempting!

They mentioned the 3 stage intake manifold not making a difference, but I don't recall seeing any info about having headers + the SC kit.
Does anyone know if having cat-less headers would benefit/not make a difference with this SC kit?

well see by the end of the year, if i had the SC i don't think i'd get the headers cause the sound would be a little different would it not?

you can get afe headers. I think those come with high flow cats. I'd get rid of the sec cats and resonator, and maybe an aftermarket market muffler first.

This conversation is like 2 years ahead of the game lol
