Sealant didn't bond, now what?

I did my winter prep detail this year and after polishing washed my car again with CG CW at a high concentration. I thought I had removed all the polishing oils but apparently not. After drying I did two coats of 1z glanz wax (about 48 hours apart) and I am convinced the glanz wax didn't bond. I am not getting tight beading like I have in the past.

So my question is...do I need to strip down the little amount of protection I do have before waxing again or would I be ok with just a maintenance wash and putting natty blue on top?
Any tips much appreciated. Thanks!

DO an IPA wipe-down prior to applying the LSP (sealant/Wax) will promote bonding. If you are uncomfortable in mixing your own IPA, take a look at CarPro Eraser or Menzerna Top Inspection.

Another product you could also use is CG Vertua bond 408 but this takes a bit more work since you would be applying this with a DA.
