I just checked into this, and Ford will provide extended warranty even if your car is out of warranty. My 2007 525i has 94k miles, is in great shape, and I plan to keep it for another 3 years. This will give me peace of mind for $3200. Better then buying a new car, and no car note! Oh, and the begins the day you purchase the coverage, assuming you have already had your car inspected at a local Ford dealership.

Also, they do not provide coverage for M or 7 series.
