^this, i like the look of my non-LED ANGEL eyes better. LED's are too bright, gives the cops something to aim at.

After trying cheaper ones and then BMS and the finally lux I knew the only way to go was a LED angel eye swap. Should have done it from the beginning case there amazing and only cost $275 plus my labour.

If you did any kind of research you would have seen these are the typical results. Plug and play kits don't do much besides change the color while being less bright than OEM.

Not sure what you are trying to say here. All aftermarket AE swaps are LED (or, in rare cases, HID). Are you saying that LED is better than HID? Or that LED is better than stock? Or something else?

What are those? Do you take the headlight assembly out and re install the rings themselves?

What I'm saying is full LED ring swap is the only way to go and really not as pricey as most people think

E92 just need to be heated up to get it open e90 is a lot harder. The rings range in price I went with the umintza Orion predator V2 cause I like the beaded look more. They cost $275 shipped to me in Canada

Umnitza Orion V2s

Just took this pic outside in direct sunlight. You'll see why I switched from LUX to Umnitza. I only blacked out the bottom of the frame on the inside of the headlight. Very easy DIY, but PITA too.

^x2 what he said, $275 for this is a freaking STEAL

edit

jus realized you said $275 is for the materials only, which sounds about right

looks like you may have them reversed or not fully turned and locked in.
LED AE's need to be aligned to the AE ring.

This is only looks marginally better than the 1s OP posted. Sorry. I guess the full LED rings are really the only 1s worth the money for a noticeable change. Damn...

Yep, i had the Lux H8's and was happy for a while but they looked bad from just a bit off angle. They pretty much only looked good to me from directly straight on. Too washed out for me. So i removed my headlamp assemblies, took them to Bavarian X and had them do the LS3 LED conversion. I couldnt be happier now This was what i should have done to begin with. The outer rings are full size too...sorry i didnt have any AE specific pics just grabbed a few from a road trip we took
