KW V1's for winter ?
Been searching for people's thought on this.
Been driving on v1's all summer and now is time to think about winter. Should i keep my v1's and raise the car a bit or simply get the oem's installed back? I'd rather get the oem's suspension for the winter but if i can keep my v1's without any problems i probably would. Grease the threads maybe ? Get em full of anti-seize for the winter so they dont get dirty as hell ? |

They should be just fine in the winter ...raise the car up if the snow is that problematic (which I imagine you'd know from past experience). Realize you will need an alignment if you change the ride height.
I leave my car the same ride height year-round without issues, but I don't typically get a lot of snow. Even if I did get a lot of snow, I'd say fuck it.

I was going to say they’ll be fine, if you’re worried about a bit of salt just get some anti-seize grease on there. Then I realized you were in Canada…so you’re messing around when you talk about snow. “Snow” around here means like 3 inches, so when the white stuff is on the ground, I’ll just let the car rest. And I’m on STs, so I actually have to get some sort of grease or the like on them to prevent rust over the long-term.
