I love:

1) Colour: Sparkling Graphite/Coral Red
2) Power/torque: Stock 335D
3) Appearance: Done a few cosmetic mods and more to come

Don't like:

1) MPG!! To be fair for a car with this power its great MPG.
2) CCC, although fitting a dension soon so should make it better with USB
3) The SHITTY M SPORT suspension

I like

1: How little attention the car gets due to the fact there's a 3 series parked on every street corner.

2: How many mods are available for the car.

3: Surprisingly economical

What I don't like

1: Awful customer service from BMW main dealers, probably the most patronising and arrogant dealers I've come across.

2: No folding rear seats as standard on the E90, didn't check for this when buying the car but come on how can it be considered an optional extra!!

3: Sometimes I do wish it wasn't a BMW, it's such a common brand these days. I realise this contradicts point 1

Likes
- the fact that it is a 335i, a real rocket ship, always grinning ear to ear when I'm ridin it..lol

- DCT, 335i and DCT are a match made in heaven, gear changes are buttery smooth and super quick

- 313's, these are the best OEM wheels that BM offer IMHO, looks luuverly.

Dislikes
- MSport suspension, got to change this ASAP, all the flip flopping on the group buy threads has left me very confused

- No CIC, don't bother me too much however

- Modding lol, tooo expensive on the pocket.....

1) The engine (330i). Driving it is like taking a dog for a walk. It seems to be having just as much fun as you are.

2) Slowing down just a bit every time you walk towards it in a car park.

3) Send-to-car. Makes the "hasn't it got a touch-screen"-w4ankers shut right up.

1) Fuel consumption. I was naively hoping for mid-30s.

2) Squeaks and rattles. My 11-year old 540 was silent.

3) Access when changing head-lamp bulbs. They are taking the pi55!

Loves.

1. The seats, I just love the seats suit me

2. Torque in it for a 2l D it works for me

3. That I can be subtle yet make it my own without making it look like I have done a ram raid on halfords.

Hates/changes

1. Some features missing i felt were better in the E46 and not carried over - preferred E46 cruise control for example.

2. The badge - I love BMW but I mean the stigma to it from some people and it seems to make it a target for the 'oh screw them they can afford it so if i scratch tough luck brigade' along with Hi sir, so what model car is it? oh BMW yea that's just doubled in price

3. Some basic features a Mondeo would have - front screen heater, sat nav an over priced option by comparison, rear split seats you get the idea

Love;
1> handling - for a heavy convertible it really does stick to the road well.
2> CIC - expensive but a good integrated system with many features
3> looks - roof down I think it's a cracking looking car

Hate;
1> dealers - poor service, standards and attitude in my experience, enough to put me off another 0-3 year old car.
2> run flats - ruins the ride and feels like you've hit a wall with the smallest of pot holes.
3> BMW uk - as bad as point 1, only thing theyre are good at is lip service.

Love:

The fact it's a 335i touring which is both rare and a stealth weapon.
Build quality
Tuning ability of the N54.

Would change:

Engine noise/note - too high pitched and not loud enough.
Seats - Msport (or whatever they are) are nice but not a patch on the Recaro buckets I had in the RS4 and S3.
Wish it was DCT or Manual.

1. Door handle lights( so many people have commented on this too)

2. The fact it's the best looking estate on the market.

3. The infinite possibilities of modifications yet the ability to do them all and it still look oem!

Dislike:

1. Engine, yes I bought the wrong engine! The best 20d but should have got a 30d!(it's too slow)

2. How easily the aluminium dents and marks no matter how careful you are!

3. The stupid steering wheel trim that bits peel off! It's poor!

Garage List
1. Sound (335i)
2. The grunt out of a "standard" non-M car
3. The fact the my e92 and the wifes e93 interiors don't look like they've covered half the mileage. They are soooo much better/hard wearing than previous 3 series.

1. Engines need an oil dipstick. End of story.
2. The fact you have no idea what is wrong with your car when the engine management light comes on, as even if you refer to the handbook, every page may as well just say "take it to the nearest dealer and hand your card over". The electronics is clever enough to at least tell you vaguely (if they don't want to divulge the issue) what is wrong and if it's safe to drive the car without causing damage. It does make owning some form of diagnostics essential, and I'm very glad I have mine!
3. The OBD port security thing. How complicated is it to simply make sure all power and communications to the OBD port is inactive unless the key is actually in the ignition?!

Likes:
Sublime grunty engine: (the reason I bought it after the test drive, I'd previously walked away after visiting BMW showrooms)
The looks: (much prettier than the latest version IMO)
Steering & Handling: (no more front tyres scrabbling for grip)

Dislikes
Manual seats: (a complete PITA to adjust whilst on the move)
Audio output: (for a £44K car its awful, wife's £25K Freelander's audio is so much better - BMW should be ashamed)
RFTs and no where to put a space saver: (This was why I nearly bought an Audi A4 - only the arrogance of the Audi salesman stopped me, which Im quite glad of in retrospect).

Likes:

1 - Stacks of power on tap when you need it
2 - I love the look, I think it's still a fantastic looking car considering mine is 6 years old. I think it looks very modern compared to a lot of newer cars.
3 - It handles extremely well for a big car. I've owned a track prep'd Pug 205 Mi16 before and that thing was a hoot to drive, but it never gave you the same reassurance the 335d does when you chuck it into bends.

Dislikes:

1 - Every knob in a <insert generic boy racer type car here> sees twin exhausts and wants to race. My wife won't drive the car anymore as she says it attracts too many idiots. I think it's just her driving but don't tell her that...Personally I tend to ignore them until they get bored and go away, or when that doesn't work, the foot 'accidentally' nails the fast pedal and they soon stop messing with me, usually because they're several hundred meters behind...
2 - The combination of M-Sport suspension and run-flat tyres. I got rid of the tyres in the end as there was only so many times I could jolt my spine and not need an appointment to see my chiropractor.
3 - Never being allowed out of junctions. The end of the road I work on is a nightmare to get out of at the best of times. People would stop and let me out regularly in previous cars I've owned, that hasn't happened once in the BMW yet so I end up having to edge my way out till someone has no choice but to stop
