e90 - bluetooth install problems!!!!!!!

Hi folks this is my first post. I have spent god knows how many hours trawling these forums but i cannot find a solution to my problem.
Here goes.
I am trying to install the parrot ck3000 evo into a 2006 BMW E90 with the professional radio, no logic 7 amp and no i drive. I have purchased the connects 2 kit CTPPAR006 which consists of the par009 control box, Tel 83 and Tel 88 leads.
I have everything connected as it should be. All cables are securely connected and there are no loose wires. As soon as i connect the connects2 box to the parrot control box the radio mutes (normal radio display still on the headunit). The phone system works fine, i can make and receive calls ok and all sound is routed via the cars speakers. The MFSW works ok too.

The problem is that the radio is constantly muted even when the phone is not connected to the car.

I thought this was a plug and play box and everyone else doesnt seem to have this issue.

Can anyone enlighten me please?

Thanks

Matt

Can no one help me with this? Fitbluetooth.co.uk suggested the following:-

1. Reset the Parrot kit (hold green + red buttons down together for 2s)
2. Disconnect CTPPAR006 main loom from Radio (now powered down completely)
3. Remove all connections between car and CTPPAR006 then connections for kit Module, remote etc..
4. Check pins on main loom on car & rear of radio carefully!
5. Check pins/sockets on CTPPAR006 main loom both ends & check Parrot connection pins for damage/bad connections (especially small blue & black pin connectors??)

6. Re-connect kit in sequence > Parrot module > pad. > mic >> CTPPAR006 > module > connections etc (Importantly connect CTPPAR006 main loom to Radio last - this will power system in sequence!!) Pay particular attention once powered to the connection of the CTPPAR006 block to main vehicle loom while testing & ensure that there is no movement in the blocks)

I have tried this and still no joy. As soon as the parrot kit is connected the connects2 box clicks and the radio mutes out. ARGHH!!!!!!!

maybe find a local audio/auto electrical specialist who might be willing to help. It sounds to me like something daft, so don't give up. (Might get around to fitting this sort of kit to mine one day..) so keep at it for the forum !! LOL

Just ahd a thought, is this a new kit? it might be faulty....sounds like you got it all in properly.
Or is it a second hand job....
Also is your phone OK?

This is exactly the kit that I have got and it works no problem at all. Mine was fitted professionally so can't offer any advice apart from the fact that it should work.

Good Luck!

Thanks for the replies people. The connects2 box is new from fitbluetooth.co.uk however the parrot kit is second hand. I assume the parrot kit is working ok as it connects to the phone and operates as it should (ie answers/make calls). Its just the muting issue i need to sort. I think i may have to bite the bullet and get a professional to complete the instal which is really frustrating!

Hi Matt

Did you manage to get your setup to work ? I am thinking of buying the same kit for my car and would like to use the buttons on the steering wheel .
