Need Help! Loss of boost with no CEL's

So i was driving along today on map 3 JB3. About 3rd gear around 4000 rpms i hear a pop, then i suddenly lost all boost pressure. Only mods i have is JB3 and UR CAI. I checked the charge pipe and seemed to be intact.

-Car was basically driving like a NA car, with no boost.
-When it poped, kinda sounded like it came from passenger side.
-Definetly a boost leak, any one with suggestions on where to look?

Thanks in advanced!

Happened to me a little while ago with a BOV and custom made charge pipe. My car actually went into limp mode though under full throttle and threw some codes indicating the pressure difference. (don't know the codes as the shop that did the work fixed it)

You sure it was on the passenger side?

If the car is tune only I would just remove tune and take it to the dealer. They will check and tighten all clamps. If one is loose others might be too.

Not entirely certain, but the charge pipe to throttle body seems intact but wiggles a bit. I just put it back to stock.

I scanned my car and ill try to get the error codes posted. May b that will help.

loud pop usually means somethign popped off your car under boost... and usually if u drive the car like that you should induce a engine malfunction.

Only thing i can think of why you're not gettting limp mode and your car drives like na is because whatever that pop noise was, is you blowing or breaking a coupler/hose or cracking it. everythign may look like it's intact but in fact something is cracked or broken and you're getting a huge boost leak.

Sounds exactly like that but raspy and no boost. Put back to stock and still same old power loss. Whats the best way to check the hoses under there? From the wheel?

if u need to, raise car and drop the lower tray cover underneath the car. it's quite a handful of screws but once removed u can see the lower IC connects

Nice, ill do that tommorow. I couldn't see anything from above. You guys think a new charge pipe and Forged Dv's or Blow off valve will prevent this from happening again?

hard to say until you find out what broke/popped/or came undone.

my bet is on the factory IC couplings.

You will need to get under the car and remove the tray. check everything carefully. Look for oil residue around the connectors.

Found out that it was the pasenger side intercooler pipe. Thanks guys! I went and bought some T clamps and clamped both sides so hopefully it wont happen again. Definetly going to invest in a new charge pipe and forged dv's probably also.

Thanks for all your help guys, car is running great again!
