The scratch and sniff thing is too much. I never watched the show, but heard people that did watch it say it was funny just because they are all so stupid. I can understand that, but I don't get this scratch and sniff thing... Completely ridiculous.

all the haters are just jealous since they all make 10K per show and you wish you could make that kind of money for being a train wreck on TV. BYW they have a train that runs through the back yard so a real wreck may happen.

Cash since they seem to be staving the poor lady to death she lost over 100lb so far and here I thought they had unlimited donuts on any production stage.
I have hear that they have not spent a dime of what they make from the show, except to buy a new 5yr old car to replace what they had. I wonder if her Honey Bear will start spending the money now that he convince her to marry him.... Last edited by Maestro; 07-19-2013 at 08:22 AM.. |

yeah, TLC is really taking advantage of them because they don't know better.
they could be quadrupling their earnings per episode, but these people are not demanding... if they hired a lawyer or some kind of agent, they could easily pry TLC's purse open - they got massive ratings... According to the latest Nielsen ratings, the TLC finale of "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" was the highest rated show on cable television Wednesday night, beating out the premiere of "South Park" on Comedy Central. It drew an audience of 2.8 million, its best yet, and according to The New York Times, made an impressive showing in the key demographic (those 18-49 years old) that advertisers love. The show about 7-year-old beauty pageant competitor Alana Thompson and her family averaged 2.4 million viewers in its eight week run. It has often been the night's most-watched cable show or tied another program for that title. In late August, it beat the cable coverage of the Wednesday night program at the Republican National Convention (Rep. Paul Ryan spoke) and the following week, it tied in the cable ratings with the Democratic National Convention (former President Bill Clinton spoke). |
