It wasn't my gripe, it was rasa's, I was agreeing that they occasionally catch me out usually sometime on the first drive of the week after having driven my van all week.
My gripe is the lack of rear pop out windows

At the risk of sounding smug, a couple of the gripes I’ve got sorted to make my car incredible........in my view anyway. Previous owner upgraded to post lci idrive and its very good. The other is the open diff which I got sorted by a Quaife at birds the other day. All in all with these issues sorted it’s the best car I’ve ever owned bar non.

You have the American market to blame for that!

Having parts fail that should last a lot longer (Water Pump, Gaskets,...). Realizing that the xDrive M-sport has the basic suspension. At least have a higher performing sport variation for the xDrives.

I’ve taken mine round Spa and Silverstone

Handled pretty good for nearly 2.5tonnes lol. But then I’ve spent a lot on it as always. But agree the 4wd isn’t as good as competitors really. Can still get all 4 wheels spinning instead of just two in snow lol.

Well you learn something new every day! Up until now I've been pressing it lightly in the opposite direction to cancel them and occasionally going too far. Maybe that's why bmw drivers don't bother using their indicators cos they haven't bothered to read the handbook and so don't know how they work. However, now thanks to you no one on this forum has an excuse

I did try the proper way today and it did feel odd though!

yeh but you still have to be a little gentle, coz if you push it hard till it has nowhere to go it doesnt cancel..got both cars in garage next week,,quite a bit of work..spent over £500 on parts and not from bmw..got them from german company buycarparts.co.uk all new arms on the e90 control arms/control radius arms and drop links..

The seats. Leather and flat (se).

I did come from an Alfa gt which had awesome seats though.

Other than that:
- No temp gauge by default
- No dipstick

Major components are strong like engine, gearbox, suspension, exhaust, diff, body, interior is well built, electrics ok. Remember that some E9x are quite heavy high performance cars. But some ancilliaries are fragile like thermostats, ABS Hydro pump, door card seals, swirl flaps leaks, intercooler pipe leaks. No standard split fold rear seats is ridiculous.
