UPDATES ON PAGE 2 & 3
Hi Guys As you can see i'm new here and to the whole BMW thing. I'm based in the UK and have owned all sorts of cars over the past 10years but in Jan jumped into the BMW fold and I am loving it. I have a 2006 E90 330d M Sport sedan. It had a few nice bits already done to it when I got it, so it seems like a good platform to start from. It already had the 19in BMW 313 performance wheels, rear spoiler, led bulbs here and there, xenons, Alpine stereo upgrade etc. Here are the photos from when I got it. I gave it a full detail when I got it and the paint was pretty good. I have a few plans for things I want to change. I bought black BMW performance grilles recently but decided with the whole front black it looked a bit dead so changed the lower sections back to silver and kept the tops black. I think it works well. Before After My plans now are as follows. Front and rear wheel spacers, probably 15f/12r from reading threads on here! The wheels are in need for a refurb as they have the odd scuff, and I want to put on BBS centre caps as they are actually BBS wheels!! Blackline rear lights BMW performance brakes The question is what colour shall I got for with the wheels. I have narrowed it down to keeping them OEM, dark gunmetal grey all over, or a dark bronze colour. I really cant decide. The brakes will have the BMW yellow calipers soon so need to consider that. I may just sell them and get some BBS CH-R in silver!! Here is a photo I did in the bronze im talking about OEM Whats the thoughts in the wheel front. Nice wheels!
I prefer OEM over the bronzing.

Looks great! Just bought a 330i that looks exactly the same as yours but with mv3's. Didn't think the 313's would look nice on a saloon but looks really good.

Thanks for all the kind comments guys, its nice to hear as I was getting a bit depressed looking at all the awesome cars on here. I guessed they all started somewhere!!
I will keep you updated with any changes. Im based on the south coast between Portsmouth and Southampton. Spacers ordered and its booked in for the wheel refurb next month. Still undecided on colour but will probably stay with the silver. |

Looks great, your mods are perfect! Would also throw in OEM performance exhaust as well as performance cf rear diffuser (Minor astetic but will look great on the rear)

Firstly I always take them off to clean them and it is a bit of a process.
1. General wash with Zymol car shampoo 2. Wonder Wheels cleaner all over but not for too long. 3. Rinse and use a clay bar on them 4. Rinse and dry them apply Poorboys wheel sealant 5. A coat of Meguiars Gold Class wax It takes ages!! |
