Nice! Today before leaving work I ran into a dude at work, and he told me to get rid of my E90 because once the warranty dies the car suffers multiple, expensive equipment failures. He said to get an EVO in it's place. Ah, I challenge him(he's an Audi owner too so you know), I asked him what failure I can expect after my warranty rolls over 50k and, of course, in all condescending manner with heavy sarcasm, "Because as soon as my car rolls over 50k it suddenly falls apart. So tell me what failure I can expect once I hit that mark? I can most certainly tell you."

Non-BMW owners(past or present) never know when to STFU.

How many miles are you on? I'm at 41k right now so I plan on going in around 48k or so. Did you just make an appointment for an inspection, or did you give them something to look for?

I just hit 67,000 on the way to work! Woot Woot..

you should definitely take yours in, there is a big maintenance service at 45k for 335i. I made an appointment so they can schedule you in. I gave them nothing to look for, basically they were looking for things to fix while i still had my warranty.

Its just good practice to take your car into the Dealer for a last inspection before your warranty expires. Also my Maintenance expires as well, Sept. 19.

I have a good relation ship with my SA, so that is always a plus because they will fight for you to get work done. He even told me that if you are a Donkey, they may not fight for you as much unless its a noticeable problem.

Bottom line, Dealers don't get paid when they turn people away. Good dealers know how to work with BMW NA, good reputation means good service = they know how to beat the system for you. Not to say what they did to my car was cheating, but if i didn't have a good relationship with my SA, I most likely wouldn't have had my rear brakes done when it said I had 2700 miles left.

Oh, i saw my service price, it cost Niello $1700 and some change (thats what they bill BMW NA), it would have cost me +$2000 I am sure.

Yeah, shit gets old. I got a lot of haters here at work, especially the types who got married and never saw a penny of their paycheck ever again.

Just a heads up for all local or near by Sacramento members, Mike Lawler (Mlawler@niello.com) from Niello BMW of Sacramento located on Fulton Ave will price match most BMW competitors (ie getbmwparts.com) for OEM parts. 2-3 days turn around time and no shipping/handling fees.

Haha thats how i got my OEM rear m-tech bumper lol. Since i have a 2009 they also painted the valence for it. The bmw repair guy said that they wont paint it if its a 2007-2009. You should tell them to paint it if you didn't get that option.

Does this sound reasonable? Mustang Dyno testing, 3 pulls for $75 which includes power pulls and A/F ratio? Also has anyone heard of the shop Evil Genius Racing as they quoted me that price?

Thanks.

How's your car been going? Did you figure out a better way to get into your driveway? You should snap a pic, im curious how steep it is.

LOL, i live neat that UTI school haha. Ive seen a few of these guys at starbucks. I would pull in and they just stare at my car lol. A convertible with an intercooler in the front doesn't help them feel any better about their car either lol.

Is anyone going to the Cruise in LA this Saturday? Even non verts can go.
