Fuel breather pipe on E90

Regarding the known issue where the pipe frays due to abrasion against the bodywork as it goes through the wheel arch, has anybody:

A) has this fixed due to a recall for this particular issue? and
B) has this fixed under the BMW Insured Warranty?

You will also see some fuel under the OSF rear door.

Had mine replaced under AUC warranty. Actually I put the car in for its MOT 2 weeks before the AUC warranty ended.

It failed the MOT because of this issue.

So in truth I'm not sure whether it was the MOT guarantee element of the AUC or the AUC warranty which triggered them accepting it. Either way I did not pay - which I'm glad about at I understand it is a £600 + job.

Good luck
